The Haitian Academy - Campus Activities

At The Haitian Academy, we believe in a balance mind-body development. Physical education plays an important role in the student's life. We have a soccer field, a basketball court, and a volley ball court (Tennis & Swimming pool currently under construction).

We are preparing our students for inter-scholar competition on the national level, and eventually for the International level as well.

March 16th (Preschool to 6th grade)

How to have a balanced diet fair?

Teachers will make presentations on the different food groups, and students will have the oppportunity to see and taste some of these foods. They will also have a tour of an experimental garden on campus, a tour of the campus bakery, and learn about milk extraction from cows.

March 16th (7th grade to 2nd year University Students)
Science Fair 2006

Students will present their scientific investigations in the areas of ecology, agriculture and pathology. There will be a jury to evaluate the students work.

March 17th (Preschool to 12th Grade field trip)

Trip to visit "Parc de la Canne a Sucre," a museum containing different artifacts from the colonial sugar proccessing mills. The second stop is at "Mission Baptiste Conservatrice" to visit their mini-zoo.
