HEALTH SERVICES

While on campus, students have access to medical services 24 hours a day at the Hospital Center of The University of the Haitian Academy. The Hospital Center is equipped with a lab for medical exams, and a pharmacy. Hospitalization and surgery are part of the services offered to all patients.

Bel Kan

United Initiative for Peace (UIP) is hosting a weeklong camp for 100 girls on the campus of the Haitian Academy in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. The purpose of this camp is to bring joy and laughter to girls affected by the January 12th, 2010 earthquake.

“Samaritan’s Purse”, a not for profit organization from The United States, that has been present in Haiti since the earthquake has donated hygiene kits, rolls of tarp, some food, and blankets to The Haitian Academy.
