“Samaritan’s Purse”, a not for profit organization from The United States, that has been present in Haiti since the earthquake has donated hygiene kits, rolls of tarp, some food, and blankets to The Haitian Academy. These items were distributed to people on campus, and in the surrounding community from Port-au-Prince to Arcahaie. The tarp was used by the local population to make and cover make-shift tents in an attempt to protect them from rain, as we have entered the rainy season in Haiti.
